Hey there, and welcome! I understand how overwhelming it can feel to open up and share with another person. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental and relaxing space for you to feel at ease, so that we can work together with whatever might be going on for you right now. I believe that you will find me to be an energetic, professional, kind and genuine Counsellor.
I work using a person-centred approach, which is led by the client. Your needs and preferences for therapy will always come first. I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which I introduce into sessions when it may be beneficial. CBT involves a more direct, practical approach to therapy that may be suitable for specific difficulties such as anxiety disorders, issues with anger, low self-esteem & confidence, depression and low mood. CBT works to discover how our thoughts effect our feelings, how our feelings effect our behaviours and how they all work together as a cycle. As your therapist, I can help you to reframe these thoughts, feelings and behaviours in order to help you develop stronger coping skills & strategies.
I specialize in anxiety and can support you with this using either CBT or personcentred therapy. I work with adults and I specialize in working with adolescents. Adolescence can be very tricky, and I offer a safe space to explore and gain selfawareness & confidence for young people. If you are concerned about your young person and feel they might benefit from speaking with a Counsellor, please get in touch- I would be happy to speak with you further.
Life can be very challenging. Whatever it is that you are facing or finding difficult at the moment, we can work together to better understand and to help you on your path to healing. If you feel that my counselling approach may be helpful for you, please book a free consultation so we can have a chat about moving forward. Thank you!

I believe healing is a collaborative venture; you can expect to find in me a therapist that is compassionate, non-judgmental and transparent. My approach is one that uses curiosity to explore, understand and appreciate you wholly – your unique story.
I incorporate various therapeutic approaches all of which hold clients in the highest regard. Narrative therapy offers an approach that is collaborative in spirit and explores the root of ‘problem stories’ that can often find us stuck in one narrative.
We all have stories, we created them! They are beneficial as they help us to explain and understand our past and our present experiences. These stories uncover our beliefs and values, they help to shape and influence our lives – most importantly they contribute and influence the development of our future.
Let’s discover together how to alter the current narrative, by leaving behind the elements in our stories that are no longer valuable to us, cause us harm or excessive stress. Through this intentional change we can now create internal space to bring in helpful elements that will instead provide a healthier, calmer and flourishing future.
I have over 14 years of experience working and volunteering with diverse communities. I have had tremendous opportunity and vast experience counselling clients in the areas of mental health wellness, specifically addressing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, disordered eating, and substance / behavioural concerns.
